How to use and maintain a smart toilet?
Smart Toilet Usage and Maintenance Guide
Before using the smart toilet, read the manual first to familiarize yourself with the functions such as posterior wash, feminine wash, drying, and flushing. For first-time use, try the low water pressure mode to avoid discomfort. After using the toilet, it is recommended to flush first and then start the cleaning function. After cleaning, wait for the drying to complete and do not immediately get up to wipe. When children or elderly people use it, it is suggested to turn on energy-saving or simple mode to prevent accidental touches.
Daily maintenance requires keeping the toilet exterior clean. Wipe with a soft cloth dipped in neutral cleaner, and avoid strong acids, strong bases, steel wool, etc., to prevent damage to the glaze and control panel. Regularly clean the nozzle; most models support self-cleaning, and it can also be manually removed and rinsed with water to prevent blockage and bacterial growth.
The filter should be checked and cleaned every 1-3 months to avoid scale and debris affecting the water flow. When not in use for a long time, turn off the power and water supply and drain the remaining water in the pipes. Avoid throwing tissues, wet wipes, and other items into the toilet to prevent pipe blockages. Keep the bathroom ventilated and dry to reduce corrosion of the circuit board caused by humidity.
Proper use and regular maintenance can extend the life of the smart toilet and ensure hygiene and safety during use.
